Bravo Ennio!!!

Ennio Morricone...a name which is a legend in the movie history, and from today finally awarded with the most important award for a composer like him, the Honorary Academy Award (Lifetime Achievement Award) "for his magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music"! Just as some of the biggest movie persons, such as Federico Fellini, he was nominated many times for the Oscar, but he never won.
For those who don't know Morricone, he's in my opinion the best movie composer ever in the history, he wrote wonderful soundtracks for famous movies. Most of the people in America know him as the author of the soundtrack of the "Spaghetti western" movies, such as "A fistful of dollars", "For a few dollars more", "The bad, the good and the ugly", "Once upon a time in the West". But Morricone composed magnificent soundtrack for many other movies, and among my favourites soundtracks thare are "The Mission", "Once upon a time in America", "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso", "The legend of 900", "The Untouchables", "Kill Bill", "Secret of the Sahara", and many other.
In other words, Morricone deserves this award, and I am so happy, and proud, he won it.
Bravo Ennio!!!
